Thanks for joining me here as we explore the value of balance.
Balance has been on my mind a lot lately, for a multitude of reasons.
I don’t know about you, but I seem to be getting an array of articles coming my way talking about balance as a bad thing. Balance as something that can be damaging. And even, balance as a myth.
I get it. With a all the “noise” out there, thought leaders (and those aspiring to be) need to stand out. One of the strategies to do that is to be different, to offer an alternative way of exploring things.
To challenge the status quo.
That’s cool.
There is value in offering alternate view points, broadening the conversation, expanding our philosophical vision if you like.
But you know what, when it comes to balance, for me at least, that just doesn’t ring true.
You’re welcome to disagree with me of course, and please, feel free to send your thoughts on balance my way.
But first, let’s really unpack what balance is and isn’t.
